Major bases in nucleic acid

As mentioned, nucleic acid is divided into DNA and RNA
Bases in DNA:
  1. PURINES: adenine and guanine
  2. PYRIMIDINES: thymine and cytosine
Bases in RNA:
  1. PURINES: adenine and guanine
  2. PYRIMIDINES: uracil and cytosine
